It is said that you cannot guide others on a journey that you haven’t been on yourself. My life’s work and passion is to explore healing on all levels: physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. This passion grew out of many years of struggling with my own health issues, and the search for healing that came out of that struggle. This led me to depths of healing that I never imagined possible, and provided me with invaluable tools for assisting others in theirs.
Somehow I have always been led to great teachers, even when I wasn’t looking for them! Below is a list of the trainings I have completed along the way. The teachings I have received, and continue to receive, from my most influential teachers are beyond my ability to put into words. I am humbled and in awe of the power of their teachings.
Brenneke School of Massage - 2007 Completion of the 650 hour program, which included training in Level I Reiki, Ayurvedic Massage and Native Energy Medicine
Mentorship with Robert Lester - 2007 Training in Robert’s unique style of Energy Medicine, which is informed by his Ojibway/Huron lineage and the ceremonies passed on to him in the traditional manner by his teacher.
CDM Spiritual Center (formerly CDM Psychic Institute) 2007-2011 Completion of 3, year-long programs: Clairvoyant training, Minister’s Program, and Meditation & Healing Teacher Training, plus advanced training in Kundalini energy. In my time at CDM, I gave hundreds of clairvoyant readings and energy healings, which included removal of cords, updating spiritual contracts, entity clearings, and aura and chakra healing (and more!). I also taught basic level classes in meditation and energy healing.
Bastyr University Craniosacral Program 2011-2014 I began my Craniosacral studies with Nancy Solliven, who then passed her program on to Einat Arian and Nancy Witt. I became a teaching assistant in their program, and was one of the first people in their program to be certified in Craniosacral therapy. Through their training I also received my intraoral endorsement, which enables me to work inside of the mouth.
Peirsman Craniosacral Academy 2014-2021 I was introduced to Etienne Peirsman by my teacher, Nancy Witt, when she invited him to come to Bastyr to teach his class, “Talking to the Heart”. That class was life-changing for me and gave me a glimpse into how deep one could go in this work. That began my journey with Etienne. Through his program I received my advanced Craniosacral certification (over 1000 hours of training), and was eventually invited by Etienne to teach his unique style of Craniosacral.
Plant Medicine Teachers 2020-Present The descriptions of my most esteemed teachers wouldn’t be complete without the mention of my sacred plant teachers, Ayahuasca, Yarrow, and Tobacco. Each came to me at times in my life when I found myself stuck and uncertain of how to move beyond the blocks that were preventing me from opening into my life fully. These sacred plant teachers have gently and lovingly guided me back to my true self, while teaching me how to love myself. Not only has their guidance led me to levels of self-healing that I didn’t know existed, through this process I have gained much understanding in how to guide my clients and students on their own healing paths. Their medicine has been, and continues to be, a precious gift.
