  • What is Craniosacral Therapy?

The stresses and traumas we encounter in life cause our tissues to tighten and constrict, and our bones to compress. As this happens, the blood and lymphatic fluids that bring nourishment and remove toxins from our tissues find it more and more difficult to reach those areas of compression, so the fluid in those areas becomes stagnant. As a result, crystallization of toxins begins to occur. This crystallization eventually leads to pain and dis-ease.

The purpose of craniosacral therapy is to release the compression of bones, muscles, nerves, blood vessels, etc. in order to create space for the body's nourishing, cleansing fluids to reach the areas that have been constricted. In doing this, the body once again has the space within the tissues to dissolve and remove crystallized toxins and to bring much needed nourishment, thereby allowing healing to occur.

Craniosacral therapy is a safe and gentle technique that is suitable for everyone, regardless of stage of life or severity of dis-ease.
